Observation #12
1821
Temp: 65f
Skies: clear, good observing.
Jupiter and Saturn continue their slow convergence. Both are readily visible in the 25mm lens and are visibly closer than they were on Observation #11. The rings of Saturn and four moons of Jupiter are visible through the 25mm lens tonight. The sun is still setting, but I anticipate excellent viewing as it darkens.
1830: visibility improving. A fast-moving object crossed my field of view while observing Jupiter - probably a meteor, too fast for satellites or air traffic.
Note-taking suffered tonight. I blame the approach of the Holidays.
